My youngest brother and his beautiful bride they done got themselves hitched! I was able to take their engagements photos, but on the actual day of the wedding it was so wonderful to be able to turn the camera over to someone else and not be in professional mode! I snapped a few photos at the dinner the night before, but besides that I was able to just enjoy the sweetness of the day and not worry about memory cards, lighting, lenses, and getting the perfect angle on all the big moments.
It was a reminder to me of the service a photographer provides, not just in carrying the equipment and getting the shots, but in taking on the worry and the responsibility of documenting the occasion so that those who are actually involved don't have to. There's a lot of pressure when you're photographing someone's wedding, but when I'm on a job I'd rather take that worry on myself than let it add to the stress of anyone else's day!
